Check and money order payments are accepted by mail.  You should allow 7-10 business days for payments to be received and credited to your account.

Online Payments

Online payments may be submitted via credit/debit card or check on the Birch website -----

On the homepage, hover your mouse over the 'Login' option near the top, and select 'Birch My Account Login'.

If you've already signed up for MyAccount, you can log in using your 'Login Name' and 'Password'.  If you haven't signed up yet, click on the 'Sign up for My Account and eBill' link at the bottom.

If signing up for the first time, there will be step-by-step instructions to walk you through signup.  You will need your Birch Account Number and Main Telephone Number for signup.  

Once you are logged in, your home page will appear.  Under the 'Billing' section, you can see a quick view of your account balance and the last payment received by Birch.  Click on the 'Make a Payment' link.  

In the next screen, click 'Next' if paying using your checking account.

Fill out your Bank Account information, then click 'Next' to start processing the payment.

If you're not paying using your checking account, but would rather pay using a credit card, click on the 'Additional Payment Methods' link after clicking into 'Make a Payment' from your home page.

In the next screen, click the 'Credit Card Payment' link.


Fill out the credit card information, and when you're ready to process the payment, click the 'Next' button at the bottom.

Payments by Phone

Birch does accept payments over the phone using a credit/debit card or checking account.  The primary way is by use of the Birch Interactive Voice Response (IVR) automated payment system, which allows you to not have to wait on hold for a billing rep.  The process is quick and easy, and involves the following steps:

  1. You call us at 1-888-772-4724.
  2. Select the language of choice (English or Spanish).
  3. Press the option# provided for the automated payment system.
  4. You will be asked to enter your 10-digit main telephone number.
  5. Confirm your telephone number when prompted.
  6. Enter your billing zip code.
  7. You will hear account details, including amount due, the date payment is due and your last payment information.
  8. You'll have the option to press '1' to make a payment, or '9' if you do not want to make a payment.
  9. If you choose to make a payment, you'll have the option to press '1' to pay by credit/debit card, or press '2' for checking account.
  10. Enter your credit/debit card information or checking account information when prompted.
  11. Once payment is accepted, you will be given a confirmation number.

If you experience issues with the automated payment system, you can and will be transferred to the billing department to speak to a live Birch billing representative.

Payment via Money Transfer

Birch will accept money transfer payments from the following companies:

  • Western Union
  • Money Gram
  • CheckFreePay

Western Union

  • Go to a nearby Western Union Agent location.  To find a nearby location, you can check online at, or call them at 1-800-325-6000.
  • Complete the Quick Collect form:

    • Payable to Birch Communications
    • Code City: SVCTELECOM
    • State: Georgia
    • Include your Birch Account Number
  • Provide payment in cash

    • Amount owed to Birch, plus
    • Any processing fees charged by the Western Union Agent
  • Receive the receipt with a 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)

Money Gram Express Payment

  • Go to the nearby Money Gram payment location.  To find a nearby location, you can check online at, or call them at 1-800-MONEYGRAM (666-3947).
  • Complete the Blue and White form:

    • Receive code will be 6335
    • Payable to Birch Communications
    • City & State: Macon, Georgia
    • Include your Birch Account Number
  • Provide payment in cash
    • Amount owed to Birch, plus
    • Any processing fees charged by Money Gram
  • Receive the receipt with an 8-digit reference number.
  • Money Gram payments are received and posted overnight.

  • Go to the nearest Walmart, or check online at for the nearest agent/payment center.
  • Provide your Birch Invoice to the CheckFreePay clerk.
  • The CheckFreePay clerk will select Birch Communications as the biller, and enter the payment into their system. 
  • Payment will be what is owed to Birch along with a CheckFreePay fee associated to how quickly you need the payment to be delivered to Birch.
  • Payment will be delivered in business days, and not calendar days.

Automatic Payments


If you are interested in the convenience of automatic payments, Birch offers the option for you to setup automatic payments using your checking account. There are no additional fees for this service.  

To Setup an Auto Payment Online

After logging into Birch My Account (see Online Payments section above), go to the 'Billing Preferences' section of the home page, and click the 'Edit' link.

In the next section, click on the 'Yes' radio button to confirm you want to pay your bill automatically.  You can then click on the 'Add New Account' link to setup your checking account (see Online Payments section above).  Once your checking account information is setup, you need to read through the Birch automatic payment policy, and click the check-box that says you agree to the policy. Finally, click the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom to finalize the setup.

Once setup, payments are taken from your checking account on the 'Due Before Date' referenced on your Birch invoice.  As long as an email is on file, you will receive an email notification when payments are drafted.  If for any reason a payment is declined, you will receive a notice via email, or a call from a Birch billing representative.
